Ayodhya’s Tremor of Grief and Omens
अनर्थिनस्सुताः स्त्रीणां भर्तारो भ्रातरस्तथा।सर्वे सर्वं परित्यज्य राममेवान्वचिन्तयन्।।2.41.19।।
anarthinaḥ sutāḥ strīṇāṃ bhartāro bhrātaras tathā | sarve sarvaṃ parityajya rāmam evānvacintayan || 2.41.19 ||
บุตรมิได้ใส่ใจมารดา สามีมิได้ใส่ใจภรรยา และพี่น้องก็มิได้ใส่ใจกัน; ทุกคนละทิ้งสิ่งทั้งปวง แล้วระลึกถึงพระรามเพียงผู้เดียว
Mothers stopped thinking of their sons and husbands of their wives. Brothers were no longer interested in each other. Every one deserted every one and thought only of Rama.
