पम्पा-ऋष्यमूक-मार्गोपदेशः

Guidance to Pampa and Rishyamuka; counsel to befriend Sugriva

तेषां गतानामद्यापि दृश्यते परिचारिणी।।3.73.25।।श्रमणी शबरी नाम काकुत्स्थ चिरजीविनी।

teṣāṁ gatānām adyāpi dṛśyate paricāriṇī || 3.73.25 ||

śramaṇī śabarī nāma kākutstha cirajīvinī |

แม้ท่านเหล่านั้นจะล่วงไปนานแล้ว แต่ผู้ปรนนิบัติของท่านยังปรากฏให้เห็นอยู่จนบัดนี้—โอ้กากุตสถะ—นางบำเพ็ญตบะนามว่า ศบรี ผู้มีอายุยืนยาว

While drops of sweat from the bodies of sage Matanga's disciples fell on earth under the heavy load of forest products they carried for their preceptor, they remained in a calm state. Those drops of sweat turned into flowers and those flowers do not wither due to the power of penance of the sages.
