दनु-शापकथा तथा सीताहरण-प्रश्नः

Danu’s Curse Narrative and Rama’s Inquiry about Sita

यदा छित्त्वा भुजौ रामस्त्वां दहेद्विजने वने।।3.71.6।।तदा त्वं प्राप्स्यसे रूपं स्वमेव विपुलं शुभम्।

yadā chittvā bhujau rāmas tvāṃ dahed vijane vane | tadā tvaṃ prāpsyase rūpaṃ svam eva vipulaṃ śubham ||

“เมื่อพระรามในป่าร้างอันสงัด ตัดแขนทั้งสองของเจ้าและเผาเจ้า เมื่อนั้นเจ้าจักได้คืนสู่รูปแท้ของตนเอง อันยิ่งใหญ่และเป็นมงคล”
