दनु-शापकथा तथा सीताहरण-प्रश्नः

Danu’s Curse Narrative and Rama’s Inquiry about Sita

स मया याचितः क्रुद्धश्शापस्योन्तो भवेदिति।।3.71.5।।अभिशापकृतस्येति तेनेदं भाषितं वचः।

sa mayā yācitaḥ kruddhaḥ śāpasyo’nto bhaved iti | abhiśāpa-kṛtasya iti tenedaṃ bhāṣitaṃ vacaḥ ||

ข้าพเจ้าได้วิงวอนเขา—แม้เขาจะกริ้ว—ถามว่าเมื่อใดคำสาปที่ตกแก่ข้าพเจ้าจะสิ้นสุดลง เขาจึงกล่าววาจานี้ ตามผลแห่งคำสาปที่ได้กระทำไว้
