अयोमुखी-दर्शनम् तथा कबन्ध-प्रवेशः

Ayomukhi Encounter and the ظهور of Kabandha

अथ तौ समभिक्रम्य क्रोशमात्रे ददर्शतुः।।3.69.33।।महान्तं दारुणं भीमं कबन्धं भुजसंवृम्।कबन्धमिव संस्थानादतिघोरप्रदर्शनम्।।3.69.34।।

atha tau samabhikramya krośa-mātre dadarśatuḥ ||3.69.33||

mahāntaṁ dāruṇaṁ bhīmaṁ kabandhaṁ bhuja-saṁvṛtam |

kabandham iva saṁsthānād ati-ghora-pradarśanam ||3.69.34||

ครั้นทั้งสองก้าวไปได้ราวหนึ่งโกรศ ก็ได้เห็นกบันธะอีกครั้ง—มหึมา ดุร้าย น่าหวาดกลัว รูปร่างดุจลำตัว และมีแขนใหญ่โอบล้อมพื้นที่ไว้โดยรอบ แสดงสัณฐานอันน่าสยดสยองยิ่งนัก
