tau diśaṃ dakṣiṇāṃ gatvā śaracāpāsidhāriṇau |

aviprahatamaikṣvākau panthānaṃ pratipedatuḥ ||

สองเจ้าชายวงศ์อิกษวากุทรงถือศร คันธนู และพระขรรค์ เสด็จไปทางทิศใต้ แล้วเสด็จเข้าสู่หนทางอันรกร้างไร้ผู้ย่างกราย
