गोदावरीतटे सीतान्वेषणम्

एते मृगा महावीर्य मामीक्षन्ते मुहुर्मुहुः।।।।वक्तुकामा इव हि मे इङ्गितान्युपलक्षये।
ete mṛgā mahāvīrya mām īkṣante muhur muhuḥ | vaktukāmā iva hi me iṅgitāny upalakṣaye ||
โอ้ผู้ทรงเดชยิ่ง กวางเหล่านี้จ้องมองข้าพเจ้าครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่า; จากกิริยาอาการของมัน ข้าพเจ้ารู้สึกราวกับว่ามันใคร่จะบอกสิ่งใดแก่ข้าพเจ้า
