Approach to Sarabhanga’s Hermitage and the Vision of Indra
ततोऽग्निं स समाधाय हुत्वा चाज्येन मन्त्रवित्।शरभङ्गो महातेजाः प्रविवेश हुताशनम्।।3.5.39।।
tato 'gniṃ sa samādhāya hutvā cājyena mantravit | śarabhaṅgo mahātejāḥ praviveśa hutāśanam || 3.5.39 ||
จากนั้น พระศรภังคะผู้รุ่งโรจน์และรอบรู้ในมนตรา ได้จุดไฟบูชา ถวายเนยใส แล้วเดินเข้าสู่กองเพลิงที่ลุกโชนนั้น
Then the effulgent Sarabhanga, knower of mantras (magical spells) kindled the fire with faggots and after offering oblations of ghee plunged in.
Dharma is expressed as disciplined, rule-governed spiritual practice: even the final act is performed through mantra and offering, not through chaos or self-indulgence.
