न हि रामं पराक्रम्य जीवन्प्रतिनिवर्तते।वर्तते प्रतिरूपोऽसौ यमदण्डहतस्य ते।।3.42.3।।
na hi rāmaṁ parākramya jīvan pratininivartate | vartate pratirūpo 'sau yamadaṇḍahatasya te || 3.42.3 ||
ผู้ใดบังอาจท้าทายพระรามและแสดงเดชต่อพระองค์ ย่อมไม่หวนกลับมามีชีวิต สำหรับเจ้า—ผู้ถูกคทาแห่งยมะฟาดแล้ว—พระรามยืนอยู่ประหนึ่งยมะเองในอีกรูปหนึ่ง
No one who exhibits his heroism before Rama will come back alive. To you, already hit by Yama's staff, he is another form of the same Yama.
Dharma is upheld through truthful counsel and restraint: Mārīca warns that aggression against a righteous protector (Rāma) leads to certain ruin, so one should abandon adharmic intent.
Mārīca cautions Rāvaṇa against provoking Rāma, stressing that those who confront Rāma do not survive.
Prudence and truth-speaking (satya-vacana): Mārīca voices an unwelcome but honest warning about the consequences of wrongdoing.
