Maricha’s Warning and the Memory of Rama’s Power

अद्य रक्षतु मां रामः पर्वकाले समाहितः।।3.38.4।।मारीचान्मे भयं घोरं समुत्पन्नं नरेश्वर।

adya rakṣatu māṃ rāmaḥ parvakāle samāhitaḥ | mārīcān me bhayaṃ ghoraṃ samutpannaṃ nareśvara || 3.38.4 ||

ข้าแต่มหาราชา ความหวาดกลัวอันน่าสะพรึงจากมาริจะได้บังเกิดแก่ข้าพระองค์แล้ว เพราะฉะนั้น ในวันนี้ ณ กาลแห่งพิธีบำเพ็ญพรตอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ขอให้พระรามผู้ตั้งมั่นและตื่นรู้ทรงคุ้มครองข้าพระองค์เถิด
