Śūrpaṇakhā Reports to Rāvaṇa; Rāma’s Might and Sītā’s Description
nādadānaṃ śarān ghorān na muñcantaṃ śilīmukhān | na kārmukaṃ vikarṣantaṃ rāmaṃ paśyāmi saṃyuge ||
I could not see Rama in the dreadful war while he was pulling an arrow from the quiver, aiming the dart, and drawing the bow-string.
Dharma as steadfast performance of duty: when protection is required, hesitation can enable harm; disciplined action prevents greater adharma.
Śūrpaṇakhā conveys that Rāma’s archery was continuous and overwhelming, leaving no interval for the enemy.
Single-pointed concentration (focus) and unwavering resolve in action.
