अरण्यकाण्डे एकोनत्रिंशः सर्गः
Sarga 29: Rama’s Admonition to Khara and the Shattering of the Mace
अद्य त्वां निहतं बाणैः पश्यन्तु परमर्षयः।निरयस्थं विमानस्था ये त्वया हिंसिताः पुरा।।।।
adya tvāṃ nihataṃ bāṇaiḥ paśyantu paramarṣayaḥ | nirayasthaṃ vimānasthā ye tvayā hiṃsitāḥ purā ||
ขอให้มหาฤๅษีผู้ที่เจ้าเคยเบียดเบียนในกาลก่อน ได้ประทับอยู่บนวิมาน แลเห็นเจ้าในวันนี้ถูกศรสังหาร ล้มลงสู่แดนนรก
The great seers whom you have earlier tortured and killed will, from their aerial vehicles, see you fallen into hell.
Moral accountability: violence against seers and the righteous brings inevitable consequence, portrayed as a fall into niraya (hell).
In the midst of the duel, Rama foretells Khara’s death and imagines the wronged seers witnessing divine retribution.
Rama’s commitment to satya and dharma: he speaks as an agent of justice for those harmed.
