Agastya Directs Rama to Panchavati

गोदावर्यास्समीपे च मैथिली तत्र रंस्यते।प्राज्यमूलफलश्चैव नानाद्विजगणायुतः।।।।विविक्तश्च महाबाहो पुण्योरम्यस्तथैव च।

godāvaryāḥ samīpe ca maithilī tatra raṃsyate | prājyamūlaphalaś caiva nānādvijagaṇāyutaḥ || viviktaś ca mahābāho puṇyo ramyas tathaiva ca ||

ใกล้ฝั่งแม่น้ำโคทาวารี นางไมถิลี (สีตา) จะรื่นรมย์ในสถานที่นั้น ที่นั่นมีรากไม้และผลไม้อุดมสมบูรณ์ มีหมู่นกนานาชนิดชุมนุมมากมาย และโอ้ผู้มีพาหาอันยิ่งใหญ่ สถานที่นั้นสงัด เป็นมงคลศักดิ์สิทธิ์ และงดงามยิ่งนัก
