शनैः स्वयंभूर्व्यसृजत्सुषुप्तं जगन्मयः पद्मनिधिं महार्णवे । विघ्नस्तपसि संभूतो मधुर्नाम महासुरः

โดยลำดับ พระสวายัมภู (พรหมา) ผู้แผ่ซ่านเป็นจักรวาล ประหนึ่งอยู่ในนิทราลึก ได้บังเกิด “ขุมทรัพย์ดอกบัว” ขึ้นในมหาสมุทรใหญ่ และจากอุปสรรคที่เกิดขึ้นระหว่างตบะ ได้กำเนิดอสูรมหึมานามว่า “มธุ”
