Narrator (contextual; the verse reports that 'she' spoke to Lakṣmī)

Concept: Approaching a tīrtha becomes the threshold for divine dialogue and karmic turning-points.

Application: Treat pilgrimages and temple-visits as intentional ‘inner arrivals’: pause, stand (vyavasthitā), and speak truthfully and respectfully in sacred spaces.

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: shanta

Type: tirtha

FAQs

It treats Puṣkara as a significant sacred locale (tīrtha) where important meetings and dialogues involving divine figures occur.

The verse uses a Purāṇic epithet linking Lakṣmī with Śakra (Indra); such identifications can reflect regional or contextual traditions and do not always match the more common association of Lakṣmī primarily with Viṣṇu.

The verse highlights reverential address and the praising of virtue (satī) and auspicious qualities (Lakṣmī), framing divine interaction within ideals of purity and honor.
