FAQs

“Vaiṣṇava-loka” means the divine realm associated with Viṣṇu—an exalted destination for devotees, indicating spiritual attainment and proximity to Viṣṇu.

Śiva himself directs the king toward the Vaiṣṇava realm, presenting Śiva as affirming Viṣṇu’s supreme abode and supporting Vaiṣṇava soteriology rather than opposing it.

The verse teaches obedience to divine instruction and the ideal that righteous rulers, guided by dharma and devotion, can progress toward the highest spiritual goal.
