वृद्धत्वेन तथा देवि शबलत्वेन पीडितः । दुःखं चिंतयते नित्यं हाहाभूतो विचेतनः

vṛddhatvena tathā devi śabalatvena pīḍitaḥ | duḥkhaṃ ciṃtayate nityaṃ hāhābhūto vicetanaḥ

โอ้เทวี เมื่อถูกชราภาพและความอ่อนแรงเบียดเบียน เขาย่อมครุ่นคิดแต่ความทุกข์อยู่เนืองนิตย์ ร่ำร้องว่า “อนิจจา อนิจจา” แล้วก็ราวกับหมดสติไร้ความรู้สึก
