Unspecified (narrative instruction within Bhūmi-khaṇḍa context)

Concept: Consecrate social duties—charity, hospitality, and ancestral rites—by orienting them toward Nārāyaṇa; such God-centered dharma quickly purifies faults.

Application: Give regularly with a devotional intention; treat guests with reverence; perform simple ancestral remembrance (water/food offering, prayers) while dedicating merit to Nārāyaṇa; reduce ‘doṣa’ by aligning motives away from ego.

Primary Rasa: shanta

Secondary Rasa: vira

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A righteous king or elder instructs townspeople to give charity and honor guests, while a small shrine of Nārāyaṇa stands at the center, receiving the intention of every act. In one corner, a family offers water and sesame to ancestors; in another, a traveler is welcomed with a seat, water, and food—each gesture suffused with Vaiṣṇava devotion.","primary_figures":["Nārāyaṇa (icon in shrine)","householders (men and women)","a guest (atithi)","ancestors (subtle, in a luminous vignette)"],"setting":"A clean village courtyard with a tulsi platform hinted in the background, a small temple alcove, and a communal charity distribution area.","lighting_mood":"golden dawn","color_palette":["warm gold","vermillion red","sandalwood beige","peacock blue","fresh basil green"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: central Nārāyaṇa icon on a small altar with gold leaf arch; devotees offering coins, grains, and cloth; a guest being welcomed with pādya-arghya; a side panel showing pitṛ-tarpaṇa with water vessel and sesame; rich reds/greens, ornate jewelry, embossed gold detailing, symmetrical composition.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: intimate domestic scene—courtyard, low altar to Nārāyaṇa, women carrying food trays, a guest seated on a woven mat; delicate lines, soft pastel architecture, distant hills, refined expressions, gentle devotional mood.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: bold outlines; Nārāyaṇa in a small sanctum at center; flanking scenes of dāna and atithi-sevā; pitṛ offering depicted as a stylized luminous band above; red-yellow-green palette, temple-wall narrative panels.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: Nārāyaṇa-centered devotional textile with symmetrical vignettes—charity distribution, guest reception, ancestral offering—surrounded by lotus borders and conch-disc motifs; deep blues and gold, intricate floral patterns, ceremonial feel."}

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"devotional","suggested_raga":"Durga","pace":"moderate-narrative","voice_tone":"reverent-soft","sound_elements":["temple bells","murmured mantras","clinking of charity vessels","soft footsteps in a courtyard"]}

Sandhi Resolution Notes:

FAQs

It recommends dedicating charity to the Divine, practicing hospitality (ātithya-bhāva), performing offerings connected with the ancestors (pitṛ-kriyā), and worshiping Nārāyaṇa.

It explicitly directs worship toward Nārāyaṇa as deva-vara (“the best among the gods”) and presents that worship as a means to become free from doṣas (faults).

Righteous giving, respectful treatment of guests, and gratitude toward one’s ancestors are framed as concrete duties that support inner purification when aligned with devotion to the Divine.
