The Dānavas are speaking, addressing the sage Kaśyapa after bowing to him with devotion.
It states that the Dānavas consider their birth/origin to be from Kaśyapa’s vīrya (virile energy/seed), affirming him as their progenitor.
Even powerful beings acknowledge their lineage and show humility by bowing to a revered sage; the verse models reverence (bhakti) and gratitude toward one’s source and teacher-figures.
