Sage Nārada (concluding the narration to the Sanatkumāra brothers)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It gives the phala-śruti (promise of spiritual fruit) that devoted listening to the Kāmodākhyāna is śubha and leads to pāpa-kṣaya—release from sins.
It elevates śravaṇa (hearing) done with bhakti as an effective devotional practice, showing that sincere receptivity to sacred narration itself purifies the listener.
No specific Vedāṅga is taught in this verse; it emphasizes the practical sādhana of śravaṇa within Purāṇic tradition as a means to purification.
