varṣāṃte caitramāsasya dvādaśyāṃ vidhinaṃdini | vāsatau ca śriyaṃ dṛṣṭvā sā haseddharṣataḥ sadā || 19 ||
Narada (narrating within the Uttara-Bhaga discourse; dialogue frame traditionally with Sanatkumara lineage)
Vrata: Dvādaśī (general Vaiṣṇava observance; not explicitly named as a specific vrata here)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It links auspicious sacred timing (Caitra Dvādaśī near the end of the rains) with the manifest presence of Śrī (Lakṣmī), indicating that right observance and right place invite visible auspiciousness and inner joy.
By emphasizing the vision (darśana) of Śrī in a consecrated abode, it suggests that devotion expressed through disciplined observance leads to grace—experienced as delight, confidence, and auspiciousness.
It highlights calendrical discipline—tithi (Dvādaśī) and māsa (Caitra)—a practical application aligned with Jyotiṣa-style timekeeping used for planning vratas and sacred rites.
