Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents a tirtha-mahātmya phala: worship at Koṭīśvara, performed according to vidhi, grants a distinct spiritual attainment—Gaṇapati’s grace (gāṇapatya)—showing how sacred places and correct ritual amplify devotion.
Bhakti is expressed here as reverent, focused worship of Mahādeva at a specific holy site, done with scriptural discipline (vidhi). The promised fruit underscores that sincere devotion, aligned with dharmic procedure, yields divine favor.
The key practical element is Kalpa (ritual procedure): “vidhānena” indicates worship must follow prescribed injunctions—proper offerings, mantras, and sequence—rather than being merely improvised.
