यं दृष्ट्वा ब्रह्मतनये सर्वान्कामानवाप्नुयात् । मार्जनं तत्र वक्ष्यामि मार्कंडेयह्रदे शुभे ॥ २० ॥

yaṃ dṛṣṭvā brahmatanaye sarvānkāmānavāpnuyāt | mārjanaṃ tatra vakṣyāmi mārkaṃḍeyahrade śubhe || 20 ||

โอ บุตรแห่งพรหมา เพียงได้เห็นก็สำเร็จสมปรารถนาทั้งปวง บัดนี้เราจักกล่าวพิธีมารฺชนะ (การชำระให้บริสุทธิ์) ณ สระมารฺกัณเฑยะอันเป็นมงคลนั้น॥๒๐॥
