Narada (in dialogue context, instructing the Sanatkumara brothers on tīrtha-māhātmya)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhakti","secondary_rasa":"adbhuta","emotional_journey":"Devotional exaltation of Puruṣottama’s presence, culminating in celebratory blessing of Utkala’s residents as ‘godlike’."}
It elevates Utkala as a mokṣa-kṣetra: because Purushottama (Jagaddeva) is present there, residence (and by implication, devotion/pilgrimage) is praised as spiritually transformative and liberation-oriented.
By identifying the Lord as “muktidaḥ” (giver of liberation) and praising those who live near Him, the verse implies that proximity expressed through worship, remembrance, and service to Purushottama in His kṣetra is a direct support for Viṣṇu-bhakti leading to mokṣa.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa ritual procedure) is taught in this line; it functions primarily as kṣetra-māhātmya, emphasizing sacred geography and the soteriological role of a tīrtha.
