Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches tirtha-centered dana: offering a complete, auspicious gift (water-pot with food, fruits, flowers, and cloth) to generate puṇya by supporting life, hospitality, and sacred giving.
Though framed as charity, the act becomes bhakti when performed as an offering to the Lord through service to devotees and guests—giving with śubha-bhāva (pure, reverent intention).
It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure): specifying the proper constituents and auspicious presentation of a donation (dāna-vidhi), especially relevant to tirtha observances.
