प्रीत्या देव्याभि पृष्टेन गंगातीरनिवासिना । देवैस्तु भुक्तं पूर्वाह्णे मध्याह्ने ऋषिभिस्तथा ॥ ९ ॥

Transliteration

prītyā devyābhi pṛṣṭena gaṃgātīranivāsinā | devaistu bhuktaṃ pūrvāhṇe madhyāhne ṛṣibhistathā || 9 ||

Translation

เมื่อเทวีทรงถามด้วยความเอ็นดูแก่ผู้พำนักริมฝั่งพระคงคา เขากล่าวว่า “เหล่าเทวะเสวยในยามก่อนเที่ยง และเหล่าฤษีก็เสวยในยามเที่ยง”
