The Description of the Greatness of the Gaṅgā

अंधाञ्जडान्द्रव्यहीनांश्च गंगा संपावयेद्बृहती विश्वरूपा । देवैः सेंद्रैर्मुनिभिर्मानवैश्च निषेविता सर्वकालं समृद्ध्ये ॥ १६ ॥

aṃdhāñjaḍāndravyahīnāṃśca gaṃgā saṃpāvayedbṛhatī viśvarūpā | devaiḥ seṃdrairmunibhirmānavaiśca niṣevitā sarvakālaṃ samṛddhye || 16 ||

พระคงคาผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ ผู้มีรูปเป็นสากล ชำระให้บริสุทธิ์ได้แม้คนตาบอด คนปัญญาทึบ และผู้ยากไร้ไร้ทรัพย์. เทพทั้งหลายพร้อมพระอินทร์ ฤๅษี และมนุษย์พากันพึ่งพาบูชาตลอดกาล นางจึงเป็นบ่อเกิดแห่งความอุดมสมบูรณ์เสมอไป.
