अकार्यकरणे जंतोर्गोसहस्रवधः स्मृतः । जानन्नपि कथं देवि भोक्ष्येऽहं हरिवासरे ॥ ५ ॥

akāryakaraṇe jaṃtorgosahasravadhaḥ smṛtaḥ | jānannapi kathaṃ devi bhokṣye'haṃ harivāsare || 5 ||

ผู้ใดกระทำสิ่งไม่ควรกระทำ ย่อมมีบาปเสมอด้วยการฆ่าโคหนึ่งพันตัว ดังนี้กล่าวไว้ เมื่อรู้เช่นนี้แล้ว โอ เทวี! ข้าจะกินในวันหริวาสระได้อย่างไรเล่า?
