Prabodhinī Ekādaśī, Kārtika-vrata, and Satya-dharma

नरस्य संचरेत्पापं भूतायां क्षौरकर्मणि । भोजने वासरे विष्णोस्तैले षष्ठ्यां व्यवस्थिते ॥ ६९ ॥

narasya saṃcaretpāpaṃ bhūtāyāṃ kṣaurakarmaṇi | bhojane vāsare viṣṇostaile ṣaṣṭhyāṃ vyavasthite || 69 ||

เมื่อเป็นภูตติถีอันอัปมงคล หากทำกษૌรกัมมะ (โกนผม/โกนหนวด) ย่อมมีบาปติดตัว; ฉันนั้น การกินในวันของพระวิษณุ และการทาน้ำมันในวันษัษฐี ก็เป็นบาปด้วย.
