FAQs

It highlights dāna (charitable gifting) performed with abundance and fairness—giving equally to each recipient—which is presented in the Uttara-bhāga as a powerful generator of puṇya supporting tīrtha-related merit and righteous kingship (rāja-dharma).

While the verse is not directly a bhakti instruction, it supports the bhakti framework of the Purāṇa by showing that wealth is sanctified when used in dharmic service—generosity and honoring worthy recipients are treated as supportive disciplines that purify the mind for devotion.

No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is explicitly taught in this verse; it primarily reflects Kalpa-aligned dharmic practice in the form of prescribed dāna and rāja-dharma conduct.
