संश्रुत्य सहते या तु किं पुनः स्वेन चक्षुषा । सर्वेषामेव दुःखानां दुःखमेतदनन्तकम् ॥ २३ ॥

saṃśrutya sahate yā tu kiṃ punaḥ svena cakṣuṣā | sarveṣāmeva duḥkhānāṃ duḥkhametadanantakam || 23 ||
