FAQs

The verse expresses the inner certainty of being “blessed” through divine shelter—here symbolized as abiding in the protective embrace of the Mātṛs—indicating a state of fearlessness and grace gained by sacred association and devotion.

Bhakti is shown as taking refuge (śaraṇāgati) in the Divine: the speaker’s pride is not worldly ego but confidence born from being accepted under divine guardianship, a hallmark of devotional surrender and protection.

No direct Vedāṅga (Śikṣā, Vyākaraṇa, Chandas, Nirukta, Jyotiṣa, Kalpa) instruction appears in this verse; it functions primarily as a Mahātmya-style affirmation of refuge and ongoing devotional residence near a sacred/divine assembly.
