Godhā-vimukti
tasya tāṃ sthiratāṃ jñātvā saha tenaiva sā purī | jagāma svargalokaṃ ca iṃdrādīnāmanujñayā || 63 ||
Narada (narratorial voice within the Uttara-Bhaga tirtha-mahatmya account)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
The verse highlights that unwavering steadiness in dharma can elevate not only an individual but also their entire community (symbolized by “the city”), culminating in a divinely sanctioned ascent to Svarga.
While Bhakti is not named directly here, the motif of firm steadfastness aligns with single-pointed commitment—an essential bhakti quality—whose fruit is recognized and approved by higher divine authorities (Indra and the devas).
No specific Vedanga (like Vyakarana, Jyotisha, or Kalpa) is taught in this verse; it primarily conveys a dharmic-phala principle—steadfast conduct leading to a higher loka with deva-sanction.
