The Enchantment of Mohinī
उद्वाह्य विधिना युक्तस्तस्थौ राजा हसन्निव । राजोवाच । न तथा त्रिदिवप्राप्तिः प्रीणयेन्मां वरानने ॥ ६ ॥
udvāhya vidhinā yuktastasthau rājā hasanniva | rājovāca | na tathā tridivaprāptiḥ prīṇayenmāṃ varānane || 6 ||
ครั้นประกอบพิธีอภิเษกตามพระเวทโดยถูกต้องแล้ว พระราชายืนดุจยิ้มอยู่ พระราชาตรัสว่า “โอ้ผู้มีพักตร์งาม แม้ได้บรรลุสวรรค์ก็ยังไม่ทำให้เราปลื้มปีติเท่าเจ้า”

It highlights that even a merit-based reward like Svarga (tridiva-prāpti) can be considered inferior to personal attachment, reminding the reader that ritual success does not automatically equal spiritual detachment.
Indirectly, it shows a common Purāṇic contrast: heavenly attainment is not the highest goal; in Bhakti discourse, such comparisons prepare the mind to value a higher, more fulfilling love—ultimately to be redirected from worldly objects toward devotion to Bhagavān.
The verse points to correct ritual procedure (vidhi) in a saṁskāra—vivāha—reflecting Kalpa/Smārta practice (ritual manuals and rules) rather than grammar or astrology.
