भर्तृस्थाने हि वस्तव्यमृद्धिहीनेऽपि भार्यया । स मेरुः कांचनमयः सन्निधाने प्रचक्षते ॥ १७ ॥

bhartṛsthāne hi vastavyamṛddhihīne'pi bhāryayā | sa meruḥ kāṃcanamayaḥ sannidhāne pracakṣate || 17 ||

ภรรยาพึงอยู่ ณ ที่ของสามี แม้เขาจะไร้ความมั่งคั่งก็ตาม เพราะเมื่ออยู่ใกล้เขา เขาย่อมถูกนับว่าเป็นเขาพระสุเมรุอันเป็นทองคำ
