Rukmāṅgada–Vāmadeva Saṃvāda: Ahimsa, Hunting, and the Fruit of Dvādaśī-Bhakti

पतव्रता दानशीला सर्वभूतसुखावहा । नावज्ञा क्रियते ब्रह्मन् वाक्येनापि प्रसूप्तया ॥ ५४ ॥

patavratā dānaśīlā sarvabhūtasukhāvahā | nāvajñā kriyate brahman vākyenāpi prasūptayā || 54 ||

นางมั่นคงในพรตแห่งภรรยา ใจกว้างในการทาน และนำสุขแก่สรรพสัตว์ ข้าแต่พราหมณ์ แม้ผู้อื่นจะเผลอไผล นางก็ไม่ดูหมิ่นแม้ด้วยถ้อยคำเดียว ॥๕๔॥
