It presents homa as a technical Vedic prayoga where disciplined, rule-based performance is said to yield rapid, observable effects—showing the Purana’s emphasis on ritual efficacy within the Vedanga-oriented section.
Bhakti is not explicit here; the verse focuses on ritual application (homa) and sankalpa (intention). In the Narada Purana’s broader frame, such rites are typically meant to be aligned with dharma and reverence to the deity/mantra rather than mere coercive aims.
Practical ritual procedure (kalpa/prayoga) is highlighted: performing a homa in specified “twelvefold” modes and the time-bound result (seven days), reflecting technical instruction typical of Vedanga-linked sections.
