Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It links a precise homa-oblation (guggulu with camphor and agaru) to the awakening of divya-jñāna—luminous, higher insight—showing how ritual acts are presented as supports for inner illumination.
While the verse is primarily ritual-technical, the act of offering into Agni is still an offering-spirit (arpana-bhāva). In the Purāṇic framework, such disciplined offerings can be performed with devotion to the divine, making ritual a vehicle that can support devotion and clarity of mind.
It highlights ritual procedure (homa/āhuti) and the prescribed use of specific aromatic substances as offerings—an applied, technical instruction consistent with Vedanga-oriented sections concerned with correct ritual materials and outcomes.
