FAQs

It functions as a phala-śruti (statement of results), affirming that faithful adherence to the prescribed vidhi yields both worldly well-being (prosperity, family, fame) and dharmic merit, aligning desire with righteous practice.

While not explicitly naming bhakti, it reflects the Purāṇic pattern that disciplined observance of sacred procedures—performed with reverence—supports dharma and prepares the practitioner for higher devotional orientation by stabilizing life through sattvic gains.

The emphasis is on vidhi—correct ritual procedure—consistent with Vedāṅga concerns such as Kalpa (ritual method). The verse underscores that accurate performance and adherence to injunctions are central to achieving the stated fruits.
