Kṛṣṇa (Vishnu) addressing Brahmā (Caturvaktra)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents the classic Purāṇic model where Brahmā performs creation as a delegated cosmic duty, while the supreme foundation remains Kṛṣṇa/Vishnu—highlighting that worldly action becomes sacred when anchored in constant remembrance of the Lord.
Bhakti is shown as “sarvadā smaraṇa” (unceasing remembrance): even while engaged in great responsibilities like sṛṣṭi, one is instructed to keep the mind fixed on the Lord, integrating karma with devotion.
The verse emphasizes disciplined performance of one’s ordained function (dharma/karma) with mental focus (smṛti/smaraṇa). While not naming a specific Vedāṅga, it supports the Vedāṅga-oriented ideal of precise duty and regulated conduct guided by remembrance of the divine.
