व्याख्यामुद्रिकया लसत्करतलं सद्योगपीठस्थितं वामे जानुतले दधानमपरं हस्तं सुविद्यानिधिम् । विप्रव्रातवृतं प्रसन्नमनसं पाथोरुहांगद्युतिं पाराशर्यमतीव पुण्यचरितं व्यासं स्मरेत्सिद्धये ॥ १३६ ॥

vyākhyāmudrikayā lasatkaratalaṃ sadyogapīṭhasthitaṃ vāme jānutale dadhānamaparaṃ hastaṃ suvidyānidhim | vipravrātavṛtaṃ prasannamanasaṃ pāthoruhāṃgadyutiṃ pārāśaryamatīva puṇyacaritaṃ vyāsaṃ smaretsiddhaye || 136 ||

เพื่อความสำเร็จพึงระลึกถึงวิยาสโอรสแห่งปราศร—ผู้มีฝ่ามือส่องประกายด้วยมุทราแห่งการอธิบาย ประทับบนโยคปีฐอันประเสริฐ; อีกมือวางบนเข่าซ้ายดุจคลังแห่งวิทยาแท้; แวดล้อมด้วยหมู่พราหมณ์ จิตผ่องใส มีรัศมีดุจดอกบัว และมีจริยาวัตรอันบริสุทธิ์ยิ่ง
