Procedure for Lamp-Offering to Hanumān

दुर्गायाः सन्निधौ प्रोक्तं संग्रामे दीपदापनम् । चतुष्पथे व्याधिनष्टौ दुष्टदृष्टौ तथैव च ॥ ३३ ॥

durgāyāḥ sannidhau proktaṃ saṃgrāme dīpadāpanam | catuṣpathe vyādhinaṣṭau duṣṭadṛṣṭau tathaiva ca || 33 ||

ในสำนักพระทุรคา มีบัญญัติให้ถวายประทีป; และในยามศึกก็เช่นกัน ที่สี่แยกเพื่อให้โรคภัยสงบ และเพื่อปัดเป่าสายตาร้ายด้วย
