The Exposition of Nṛsiṁha Worship-Mantras, Nyāsa, Mudrās, Yantras, Kavaca, and Nṛsiṁha Gāyatrī
evaṃ sarvatra niśchidraṃ nāmadvādaśapañjaram | praviṣṭo'ha na me kiñcidbhayamasti kadācana || 126 ||
Narada (in the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that taking refuge in the Lord through the “Twelve Names” forms an unbroken inner protection, producing steadiness and fearlessness in every circumstance.
Bhakti is shown as active refuge (śaraṇāgati) through nāma—abiding in the Divine Name so completely that fear and insecurity lose their basis.
It reflects disciplined mantra/nāma practice—precise recitation and consistent observance (a technical devotional method aligned with Vedāṅga-style attention to sound and practice), used as a spiritual safeguard.
