Narada (in instruction-dialogue, traditionally to the Sanatkumara brothers)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches ritual completeness and harmony: offerings are first extended to the guardians of the directions (aṣṭadik), then to bhūtas, acknowledging all subtle forces so the rite proceeds without obstruction and with universal appeasement.
Even in technical ritual steps, the devotee cultivates reverence and humility—offering respectfully and praying for acceptance—so the act becomes devotional service performed with a pleased, non-hostile atmosphere toward all beings.
It reflects applied ritual procedure (kalpa-like practice) and directional arrangement used in Vedic rites—systematically offering in the eight directions and then performing a distinct bhūta-bali as a prescribed sequence.
