FAQs

It declares the Lord’s supreme transcendence: His highest abode/state is beyond the ordinary reach of even the greatest cosmic authorities (Brahmā, the devas, and Sadāśiva), pointing to liberation oriented to the Absolute.

The verse functions as stuti (praise) and surrender—addressing the Lord as Jagadīśa and Jaganmaya—implying that devotion recognizes God’s supremacy and seeks refuge in His parama-sthāna rather than in limited celestial attainments.

Primarily the use of mantra-style address and theological precision in naming (nāma) and epithets—supporting correct recitation and meaning (a concern aligned with Śikṣā and Vyākaraṇa), though no specific ritual or astrological rule is taught in this single verse.
