“เพราะเจ้าบังเกิดในเรือนของเรา เป็นผู้มุ่งมั่นในภักติแด่พระวิษณุโดยสิ้นเชิง”—เมื่อคิดดังนี้ เขาก็อิ่มเอมในดวงใจด้วยความประพฤติดีของบุตรนั้น
Narrator (Purāṇic narration; dialogue-context within Nārada Purāṇa)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents Viṣṇu-bhakti as a defining spiritual trait: the son’s devotion and righteous conduct become the direct cause of inner contentment and approval within the household.
Bhakti is shown as “parāyaṇa” (one’s supreme commitment/refuge): being devoted to Viṣṇu is not merely belief but is verified through karma—visible conduct that brings harmony and satisfaction.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Śikṣā) is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is ethical application—sadācāra (good conduct) as the lived expression of devotion.
