Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It declares that humility and forgiveness toward brāhmaṇas, along with disciplined service to Agni and the guru, are direct dharmic causes for attaining Hari’s abode—linking social-ethical conduct and ritual/teacher-centered devotion to mokṣa-oriented reward.
Bhakti is expressed here as reverent service (śuśrūṣā): honoring Hari by honoring His devotees (brāhmaṇas), sustaining sacred worship through Agni-service, and receiving divine knowledge and discipline through guru-sevā—devotion embodied in daily conduct.
It points to śrauta/smārta ritual discipline centered on Agni (e.g., agnihotra-style fire service) and the guru–śiṣya framework through which Vedāṅga learning (especially Kalpa for ritual procedure) is preserved and practiced.
