मेषप्रवेशे सेनानीः कर्कटे सस्यपो भवेत् । समोद्यधीश्वरः सूर्यो मध्यमश्चोत्तमो विधुः ॥ २ ॥
meṣapraveśe senānīḥ karkaṭe sasyapo bhavet | samodyadhīśvaraḥ sūryo madhyamaścottamo vidhuḥ || 2 ||
เมื่อพระอาทิตย์เข้าสู่ราศีเมษ ย่อมบ่งถึงแม่ทัพผู้นำกองทัพ; เมื่อเข้าสู่ราศีกรกฎ ย่อมบ่งถึงผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งพืชผลและความอุดม. พระอาทิตย์เป็นเจ้าเหนือมหาสมุทร ส่วนพระจันทร์แรกเป็นกลาง แล้วกลับเป็นยอดเยี่ยมและเป็นมงคลยิ่ง.
