kārtike śuklanavamī tvādiḥ kṛtayugasya ca | tretādirmādhave śukle tṛtīyā puṇyasaṃjñitā || 147 ||

ในเดือนการ์ติกะ วันนวมิในปักษ์สว่างกล่าวว่าเป็นปฐมแห่งกฤตะ (สัตยะ) ยุค และในเดือนมาธวะ (ไวศาขะ) วันตฤติยาในปักษ์สว่างเป็นที่เลื่องลือว่าเป็นปฐมอันเป็นมงคลแห่งเตรตา ยุค
