FAQs

It links dharmic/auspicious outcomes with cosmic timing, showing that the Purana integrates Moksha-dharma with Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa to describe when favorable conditions naturally arise.

Indirectly: by emphasizing auspicious timing and supportive conditions, it implies that disciplined, dharmic ordering of life (including right times) can aid steadiness of mind—useful for sustained Vishnu-bhakti and sādhana.

Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa: assessment of nakṣatra segments (ṛkṣāṃśa), lunar quarter (turya/pāda), and planetary strength/aspects—especially Saturn (manda) and Mercury (Budha)—for judging auspiciousness.
